Being seen by others, especially your partner, is so important.
My name is Erica, and I believe that partnerships are a critical part of being a human being—and sometimes the hardest part. I want to give you the opportunity to identify, work through, empower, and amplify the relationship with yourself and your partner.
I do this using the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) method, as well as IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR. We will definitely emphasize the importance of emotional regulation, emotional safety, and nervous system health through the use of polyvagal theory.
Non-negotiables in your sessions with me include creating emotional safety. I use somatic approaches because it’s critical to engage the body when healing trauma across every aspect of the mind and body. If it’s not all done together, it’s not going to stick.
